Founded in the U.S., through development over the past half century, RECON Group now runs business throughout the world. Recently, RECON Group has officially announced series of its significant progress in India relating to different business sectors. In-depth dialogues have been launched between delegations from RECON’s subsidiaries and the competent authorities of Indian government. Series of meetings was held between India’s cabinet members including 8 ministers in the government of India and chief directors from top Indian enterprises, RECON’s subsidiaries have signed memorandum of Understanding with Indian enterprises to jointly develop smart industry in India.

Dr. Tony Xia, Chairman of RECON Group and Chairman of Aston Villa Football Club led the delegation to India. Birmingham Post has reported that Aston Villa boasts as many as 150 million fans in India including many important government officials. India’s Ministry of Sports and Ministry of Education expressed the interest in having a close cooperation with Aston Villa in the future. After RECON’s successful acquisition of the 142-year-old British football club Aston Villa, Dr. Tony Xia has become a welcomed figure on the international stage including India, and Aston Villa will help to develop football training programs in 10,000 schools in India and to establish football training base in series of cities including New Delhi.
